A.D. in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology with Energy Management

This program offers the student the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to succeed in the changing world of technology. The two-year curriculum prepares the student in the area of residential, commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning by integrating the fundamental concepts of energy management in these areas. He also develops knowledge and skills in data analysis, problem solving and effective communication in Spanish and English. The graduates will have the opportunity to continue their studies in the baccalaureate in science in mechanical engineering. The graduate student will be able to take the exam offered by the Examining Board for Technicians in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning of the Government of Puerto Rico once it has completed its program of 1,035 hrs. and fulfilled all the requirements by law.
